SMS program — consent & opt-in

Program overview
TickerSpark, operated by Maxwell Cyberlogic LLC, offers an optional SMS program for marketing messages and product updates. Messages are sent only to users who have explicitly opted in. This page describes how consent is collected, what messages are sent, and how recipients can opt out.
Message types
Subscribers may receive the following categories of text messages:
- Subscription-related messages (trial reminders, renewal notices)
- Promotional offers and special deals
- Product updates and new feature announcements
- Re-engagement messages for inactive accounts
Message frequency varies. Typically fewer than 8 messages per month.
How users opt in
TickerSpark collects SMS consent online through the newsletter subscription form on our website (the signup box and popup at tickerspark.ai). The form collects an email address and, optionally, a mobile phone number.
SMS consent is collected through a dedicated checkbox that is unchecked by default and separate from the email subscription. Users must actively check this box before any SMS consent is recorded. Providing a phone number alone does not constitute consent, and SMS consent is never a condition of subscribing to the email newsletter or of any purchase.
Consent language shown to users
The following text is displayed directly adjacent to the SMS consent checkbox:
"I agree to receive automated marketing text messages from TickerSpark at this number. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for assistance. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Consent is not a condition of purchase."
Consent records
Every consent event is recorded server-side at the moment the user saves their number. The following information is captured and retained for a minimum of 5 years:
- Timestamp (UTC) of consent
- Phone number consented to receive messages
- IP address of the request
- User agent (browser/device)
- Exact consent language version shown at time of opt-in
- Source context (e.g. newsletter subscription form)
Opt-out instructions
Subscribers may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon receipt of STOP, one confirmatory message will be sent and no further messages will be delivered to that number. The following keywords are also honored: QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT-OUT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE.
Consent can also be withdrawn at any time through the Account > Profile tab by contacting support at team@tickerspark.ai.

Cost
TickerSpark does not charge for SMS messages. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
