The First Trust Balanced Income ETF (the "Fund") seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund's fees and expenses) of an index called the Bloomberg Moderate Allocation Income Focus Index (the "Index"). Under normal conditions, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in the exchange-traded funds ("ETFs") that comprise the Index. The ETFs comprising the Index selection universe are advised by First Trust Advisors L.
