The First Trust Indxx Medical Devices ETF (the "Fund") seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund's fees and expenses) of an index called the Indxx Medical Devices Index (the "Index"). The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its net assets (including net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in the common stocks and depositary receipts that comprise the Index. The Fund, using an indexing investment approach, attempts to replicate, before fees and expenses, the performance of the Index.
