About the company
Established on September 10, 2001, ORIX JREIT (OJR) became the fourth Real Estate Investment Trust (JREIT) to commence trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, doing so on June 12, 2002. A JREIT is defined as an externally managed property fund, operating under the regulatory framework of Japan's Act on Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations. ORIX Asset Management Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of ORIX Corporation (TSE: 8591, NYSE: IX (ADR)), serves as the entity responsible for managing OJR's assets.
