Our answer: Albemarle Corporation (ALB) — the reasoning is below.

One promotion, several names — all of them point to the same pitch, and the same stock.

“Elon’s New ‘Super Startup’ Is At The Center Of A New $23 Trillion Investment Opportunity” is the headline Adam O’Dell is using for Green Zone Fortunes, in a Money & Markets promotion associated with Banyan Hill and Omnia. The offer is called the Megablock Wealth Blueprint.

The pitch says Tesla is building a secret energy-storage powerhouse around its Megablock system, with a potential $23 trillion opportunity behind it. It promises the companies supplying Tesla’s lithium, silicon-carbide chips and grid equipment, with access tied to an October 21 deadline.

The headline stock is identified below with 88/100 confidence. The promotion also points to a three-stock basket, and the evidence is strongest for Albemarle and Powell Industries, while the STMicroelectronics link remains unconfirmed.

What we had to work with

The giveaway is the unusually specific Silver Peak clue. The promotion describes a U.S. lithium mine operating since the 1960s, a federal expansion approval and a supposed top-supplier relationship with Tesla. Albemarle’s own materials identify Silver Peak in Nevada as the only producing lithium mine in the United States. Powell Industries supplies the grid hardware and matches a remarkably particular bundle of clues: new orders up 63%, backlog near $1.6 billion, a roughly $75 million data-center order and about $500 million in cash with no debt.

The same pitch is also branded as “Elon’s New Super Startup,” “Tesla Energy super startup,” “Megablock Revolution,” “Elon’s Megablock Revolution,” “Elon’s New Venture,” “Tesla Energy,” “Megablocks,” “The $23 Trillion Energy Revolution” and “Megablock Wealth Blueprint.” Those are different labels for the same Tesla-energy story, not separate discoveries. The bonus titles add a “$6 Stock Wiring America’s Energy Revolution” and a “$4 Moonshot Founded by a Former Tesla Gigafactory Engineer.”

The stocks behind Super Startup

The three stocks are Albemarle Corporation (ALB), STMicroelectronics N.V. (STM) and Powell Industries (POWL). Albemarle is the headline pick, identified with 88/100 confidence; STMicroelectronics carries 66/100 confidence, and Powell carries 94/100.

Albemarle is where the clues converge most cleanly. Albemarle’s 2025 10-K and Silver Peak materials identify the Nevada operation as the only producing U.S. lithium mine, while the Bureau of Land Management recorded approval of the Silver Peak expansion on February 24, 2026. The catch is important: the federal permitting dashboard says that approval doesn’t change annual lithium production, and Albemarle’s filing identifies Tesla as a competitor rather than confirming Tesla as its customer or top lithium buyer.

Powell fits the grid-equipment clues almost line for line. Its 2025 10-K lists switchgear, substations and power-control systems, while its February 3, 2026 fiscal first-quarter release reports orders up 63% year over year to $439 million, backlog of $1.6 billion and an approximately $75 million data-center order. STMicroelectronics makes silicon-carbide power devices, but no authoritative source reviewed publicly confirms that it directly supplies Tesla or that its chips sit inside a Megablock inverter.

The bonus titles are treated separately as guesses: Shoals (SHLS) for the wiring report and American Battery Technology Company (ABAT) for the former-Tesla-engineer and recycling report. Those pairings are not presented as confirmed members of the main three-stock basket.

The claims, one at a time

The promotion’s Tesla-energy story contains real company figures alongside claims that stretch them past what the filings support. The claim-by-claim check below separates confirmed facts from mismatches, unsupported supplier links and bonus identifications that should remain labeled as guesses.

The sources include Tesla’s 2025 10-K and investor materials, Albemarle’s filings, Bureau of Land Management records, Powell’s 10-K and fiscal first-quarter release, STMicroelectronics’ filings, and reporting from Canary Media, Data Center Dynamics and Epoch AI.

Claims about the pitch itself

The promotion claimsVerdictWhat we found
Tesla is incubating a new “super startup” inside the companyCan't verifyTesla’s 2025 10-K reports an Energy Generation and Storage segment, but neither that filing nor the company’s investor materials reviewed here describes it as a separate “super startup” being incubated inside Tesla.
More than 4,000 white energy-storage crates are headed to 48 sites across 14 statesCan't verifyTesla’s Megafactory page confirms large-scale Megapack production, but no Tesla filing or official company page reviewed here confirms the promotion’s combined count of more than 4,000 units, 48 sites and 14 states.

Claims the record contradicts

  • “Tesla energy demand is growing 168% annually” — Tesla reported 2025 energy-storage deployments of 46.7 GWh versus more than 31 GWh in 2024, roughly 49% growth, while Energy Generation and Storage revenue rose from $10.086 billion to $12.771 billion, about 27%.
  • “Six hundred Megablocks worth $585 million were shipped to Colossus 2 in Memphis” — Data Center Dynamics reported more than $375 million of Tesla Megapack storage planned for xAI’s Colossus II, but Tesla, xAI and regulator materials reviewed here do not support the promotion’s 600-unit, $585 million figure.
  • “The approved Silver Peak expansion will double production capacity” — The federal Silver Peak permitting dashboard says the approved action will not modify the mine’s annual lithium production; earlier Albemarle expansion plans discussed doubling output, but that is not what the 2026 approval authorizes.
  • “Tesla’s Houston Megafactory was in final construction and would open before the end of 2025” — Tesla’s January 2026 and April 2026 updates still listed the Texas Megapack site as under construction, while Tesla’s October 2025 materials placed production in 2026 rather than before the end of 2025.

Where the pitch outran the record

  • “Megablocks deliver power at 35,000 volts” — Tesla’s Megapack specifications list 480V AC three-phase interconnection, while the reported Megablock medium-voltage figure is approximately 34.5 kV; presenting that system-level voltage as the unit’s direct specification is an embellishment.
  • “Megablocks can be installed and operating in about 20 days” — Canary Media reported Tesla’s claim that one gigawatt-hour of storage could be deployed in 20 business days, not that a single 20-MWh Megablock would necessarily be installed and operating in 20 days.
  • “Albemarle’s Silver Peak mine has operated since 1966” — The Bureau of Land Management and Albemarle’s Silver Peak project materials date continuous operation to 1965, making the promotion’s 1966 date a one-year error.
  • “Powell’s market capitalization was approximately $6.3 billion” — Powell’s latest market check showed a market capitalization of approximately $7.55 billion, above the promotion’s $6.3 billion figure; the difference may reflect the promotion’s earlier date rather than a different company.

Why the clock is ticking (or isn't)

What exactly happens on October 21? The promotion gives that date as its deadline, but the claims reviewed don’t tie it to an earnings release, FDA decision, index change, plant opening or other checkable corporate event.

We received the campaign on one day, August 3, 2026, so the record is too thin to say whether the deadline rolls. One day tells us the date was advertised, not how it behaves over time.

What else they are selling right now

The same stock is also being teased by Money & Markets under the name “America’s New Power Grid.” That’s useful context before treating the two headlines as independent discoveries: both promotions point to the same company.

The basket, on its own merits

The pitch’s central claim is simple: Tesla is turning Megablocks into a giant energy business, that creates a $23 trillion buildout, and Albemarle, STMicroelectronics and Powell Industries are the suppliers positioned to benefit. The first link has substance. Tesla reported $12.771 billion in 2025 Energy Generation and Storage revenue, and its materials describe Megablock as a roughly 20-megawatt-hour system.

The chain breaks when scale and speed become the sales engine. Tesla’s energy-storage deployments rose from more than 31 gigawatt-hours to 46.7 gigawatt-hours, roughly 49% growth, while segment revenue rose about 27%—not 168%. The $23 trillion figure is an opportunity estimate cited from Blackstone and McKinsey, not Tesla’s order book. The claims about 600 Megablocks worth $585 million for Colossus 2 and a single-block installation in 20 days don’t survive the underlying reporting. That’s a lot of rocket fuel poured onto a shipping estimate.

The weakest link is the supplier identity. Albemarle has the strongest raw-material clue, but its filings don’t establish that Tesla is its top lithium customer. STMicroelectronics makes the right kind of silicon-carbide hardware, yet the direct Tesla connection and Megablock inverter link remain unsupported. Powell is different: its products, order growth, backlog and data-center booking are all documented independently of the Tesla story.

On the merits, this is a theme basket rather than three equally proven Tesla suppliers. Albemarle carries the headline lithium thesis, Powell has the cleanest operating evidence, and STM is the speculative semiconductor leg. The basket has a coherent grid-and-storage theme, but the promotion asks readers to treat a real industry expansion as proof of three specific supplier relationships. The filings don’t go that far.

How confident are we? ALB 88, STM 66, POWL 94 out of 100. We identified 3 stocks from the promotion's own clues and checked 41 claims across them against filings, earnings calls, ownership records, market data and public reporting. Confidence is scored per stock, so a weaker one does not borrow credit from a stronger one. This is our analysis, not the publisher's disclosure — we have no relationship with them.
